Thai Freshwater Fishing Thai Freshwater Fishing is a Thai tour company operating under Thai Law. We are registered with TAT (Tourist Authority Thailand) and our license is: 34/00291. Thai Freshwater Fishing is managed by Meik and Tik. Meik Lykke is Danish. He was born in 1971 in Jutland’s Lake & River District and fishing has been his passion from the day he started walking. Tik, Meik's wife, is a Thai national and manages the office, while Meik is at large in Cheow Lan Lake !

In 1999 he visited Thailand and has since been a freelance fishing guide for many of the Big Game Fishing companies in Phuket. He also has great experience guiding tourists in Freshwater fishing and offers great fishing knowledge and guidance to tourists.

He lost his heart to Cheow Lan Lake on his first trip to this amazing place. In his expert opinion, Cheow Lan is the ultimate freshwater fishing location in Thailand.

All Thai staff on our trips are local people who have grown up around Cheow Lan Lake. They offer great knowledge about animals and plants and where to go for the optimal fishing experience. Thai Freshwater Fishing is about Quality: from our equipment to our tailor made tours.
